Quick answer

Farm the drop that moves your build forward

Start with your current bottleneck: damage, mobility, progression gate, race quest, or material requirement. Then compare the Trello card, expected kills, and spawn/summon friction before committing a long session.

1. Check build readiness

Use the Damage Calculator to estimate whether your fruit, sword, or fighting style is ready for contribution-based boss rewards.

2. Pick a target reward

Search the Boss Drop Planner for the exact sword, accessory, material, orb, or fruit that changes your next upgrade.

3. Compare friction

Expected kills are only part of the route. Spawn timers, storm windows, summon items, and group requirements decide the real farming cost.

How boss drops work

Separate listed probability from real route cost

The planner extracts only rewards with an explicit percentage in the stored source cards. Expected kills use 100 divided by that percentage. The calculation does not include travel, summon materials, group contribution, or unlisted cooldowns.

Choose a build outcome

Target a weapon, accessory, material, fruit, or progression gate that changes what your current build can do.

Compare the full requirement

Open the boss wiki card and source line. A favorable percentage can still be a poor route when the spawn or summon condition is difficult.

Set a stopping rule

Decide how many summons or rotations you can afford before starting. Expected kills describe an average, not a point where the game owes you a drop.

Sea routes

Use only locations supported by the snapshot

Sea routes are deliberately incomplete. 10 of 22 parsed drop rows do not have a reliable sea label, so they remain outside the Sea 1–3 route lists instead of being guessed.

Sea 1 farming route

No percentage-based rows are reliably tagged Sea 1 in the current snapshot.

Sea 2 farming route

1 percentage-based rows are explicitly tied to Sea 2. Compare them as candidates, not as a fixed best-to-worst route.

When to skip a rare drop

Stop when the route no longer serves the build

The location is unconfirmed

Use the Unknown sea filter and source card first. Do not plan a travel route from an assumed location.

The summon cost blocks progression

Preserve scarce keys, orbs, or event items when the drop is optional and the source does not confirm a practical route.

The build cannot meet the requirement

Use the calculator as a rough check, then confirm contribution rules in the boss card before joining repeated rotations.

Codes and early farming

Check rewards before spending time or currency

Source-listed codes include cash, gems, spins, and EXP claims that may change an early route. Check the codes status page first; none of the current entries were verified in game today.

FAQ

Boss drop route questions

Which Haze Seas boss should I farm first?

Start with the boss tied to your next build decision, then compare drop chance, summon cost, location confidence, and spawn information in the Boss Drop Planner.

Should I chase the rarest drop first?

Not automatically. A common progression item can move a current build forward faster than a rare drop with high route friction.

How do I know if I can get boss rewards?

Read the boss card for contribution or summon requirements and use the Damage Calculator as a rough readiness check. The estimate is not a reward guarantee.

Are expected kills exact?

No. Expected kills are probability averages. Real outcomes can be faster or slower, and a 1% drop is not guaranteed after 100 kills.

What if a boss has no percentage drop listed?

The planner excludes that reward from expected-kill math. Use the source card and requirement text instead of inventing an average.
